Through the Eyes of a Reenactor: Culp’s Hill Tactical and More!

A little late in posting this, but I thought this was so cool.  I always loved reenacting, and here is a little bit of the ‘why’.  These were taken by Confederate reenactor Richard Moore using a GoPro Hero3 portable camera that essentially attaches itself to anything (and takes stunning HD video).  He was goodly enough to give me permission to post this here on the blog.  The first video is of the Culp’s Hill tactical (all of these took place during the BGA Reenactment at the end of June as part of the 150th anniversary of the battle of Gettysburg, roughly 12,000 reenactors took part):

And here is Pickett’s Charge! (Slow at first, but picks up quickly after a few minutes)

And finally, Moore gives us a look at the 150th anniversary of Cold Mountain and Antietam in his video of Maryland My Maryland:

Mr. Moore did a fantastic job and I thank him for permitting me to display his videos here.  Hope you enjoyed them as well!
