As we approach the anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, let me offer this eyewitness account from the British perspective. A few things struck me as interesting about this account. (1) It mentions women playing a role in the battles (actually shooting at the British) and (2) the feeling of desperation about the battle and the siege.
